Jonathan Abbott joined Tendeka in August 2021.  He has almost 20 years’ international experience in operations, sales, technical support, product development and project management. His career includes stints in Canada, Russia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, primarily with Schlumberger, where he led large engineering development teams focused on lower completions, stimulation and production enhancement.

Jonathan has strong international experience at a senior engineering level. He has significant expertise specific to reservoir-centric production and completion optimisation and has been responsible for multiple technical industry firsts with supporting technology patents and industry recognised publications.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Mechanical Engineering with German from Sheffield University.  He is an active SPE member, mentor and event organizer.

Scott Watters joined Tendeka in May 2015. He has 30 years’ experience working in a range of operational, support and senior line management roles.  Previously he worked for Weatherford where his last role was General Manager for Saudi Arabia. He has also spent time working in the Operator sector, where he was Director for an Independent Oil & Gas Company carrying out exploration work in Myanmar.

Scott has a strong formation evaluation background from over 15 years with Baker Atlas, as well as completions experience from time spent with Weatherford’s Wellscreen group. With numerous postings globally, Scott brings a diverse range of international experience to Tendeka.

Scott holds a B.Eng from the University of Glasgow, and is an active member with SPE having previously held board positions in Qatar and Thailand.

Alan Pearson was appointed as CEO of Tendeka in Feb 2023, after joining in 2009 as CFO. He has more than 20 years experience in both corporate and private practice, and was previously the finance director for Total Waste Management. Prior to this, Alan served as Eastern Hemisphere controller for Baker Hughes Drilling Fluids.

He brings a strong background of financial discipline and has worked with a number of companies experiencing high levels of growth. In these positions he ensured the financial systems, controls and reporting met the specific needs for such environments.

A qualified accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (ICAS), Alan also holds a BA in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot Watt University.
