The issue of sand influx into an already producing well can be problematic, and the ability to resolve the specific area of failure is key to returning well back to production. A unique remedial sand control service collaboration between Tendeka and TGT offers the ability to pinpoint the location of failure, specifically treat the area and the validate the success of the treatment.

Sandbar brings together the expertise of Tendeka with our game changing Filtrex sand control system and TGT in acoustic diagnosis of sand ingress, with a more specialised treatment methodology than currently exists for thru-tubing remediation.

Tendeka’s SSD enables selective flow in production and injection directions.  The SSDs can be deployed as a stand-alone option (FloMax) or in conjunction with Tendeka’s passive (FloRight) or autonomous inflow control (FloSure) devices to regulate flow.

The SSD can be designed utilising FloShroud Screen Technology, providing a debris barrier to control sands of 800 microns and larger typically run in carbonate reservoirs.  It can also be run with a sand screen from the FloElite, FloUltra or FloDirect range for sandstone reservoirs.

Tendeka’s Filtrex remedial sand control system is designed to address the issue of sand failure in existing wells. A simple intervention based system, it provides the flexibility to be installed thru-tubing and can combine sand clean-out as part of the installation process.

The unique filter mechanism employed by Filtrex is a multi-layer open cell matrix polymer (OCMP), with a range of sizes to cover broad range of applications. The OCMP is run in hole compressed within a sleeve and is deployed along with an integral anchor system. Once set, the filter media can expand by up to 75% to conform with the wellbore ID.

Filtrex is designed to retain sand whilst allowing fluid flow through the filter mechanism with little impact. Once installed, the tool requires no further intervention but can be easily retrieved at a later date if desired.

Tendeka’s FloShroud range is debris filter which has been designed to offer sand control for carbonate reservoirs whilst being a cost-effective solution to a standard wire wrap or premium mesh screen.  The debris filter is a shroud which provides a protective barrier for large sand particles ranging from 400-1000 micron preventing any ingress to inflow control valves. The dimple design provides a 3mm standoff drainage layer for fluid and is welded onto the pipe holding it in place.

The screens can be deployed as a stand-alone option (FloMax) or in conjunction with Tendeka’s passive (FloRight) or autonomous (FloSure) inflow control devices to regulate flow and create a highly effective sand control solution.  These screens are also compatible with the newest generation of injection and production valve technology from Tendeka, including FloCheck, FloExtreme and FloFuse ranges

Tendeka’s FloCompact Sand Screen Range has been designed to provide sand control whilst still maintaining the benefits of being a slide-on screen to enable re-dressing on site.  The screen is designed to be grub screwed in place to allow the screen and housing to be removed and the  interchangeability on inflow control devices.  This product combines the benefits of Tendeka’s extensively run welded sand screens with providing the flexibility for re-dressing, using an anchoring method proven with our range of Zonal Isolation sleeves.

The sand screen can be deployed as a stand-alone option (FloMax) or in conjunction with Tendeka’s passive (FloRight) or autonomous (FloSure) inflow control devices to regulate flow and create a highly effective sand control solution.  These screens are also compatible with the newest generation of injection and production valve technology from Tendeka, including FloCheck, FloExtreme and FloFuse ranges

It can also be used with our SwellRight open hole packers to compartmentalize a section of the well for maximum sand or conformance control.

FloDirect wire wrapped screens range is a cost-effective method for sand retention and fines tolerance.  Wrapped screens are shrink fitted to the perforated base pipe, providing maximum strength to withstand high loads in shear, compaction and torque.  Internal control of wire quality and specifications ensures maximum plugging resistance.  Jackets are available in standard service 316LSS or CRA alloy as required.  Wire profiles are available with a heavy-duty design for maximum erosion resistance.

The screens can be deployed as a stand-alone option (FloMax), or in conjunction with Tendeka’s passive (FloRight) and autonomous (FloSure) inflow control devices to regulate flow and create a highly effective sand control solution.  These screens are also compatible with the newest generation of injection and production valve technology from Tendeka, including FloCheck, FloExtreme and FloFuse ranges.

The FloUltra premium sand control screen range uses an innovative press-fit assembly method to ensure the highest burst and collapse ratings of the premium mesh layers.  The premium screen design uses a multi-layer design for support, drainage, filtration, convergence and protection.  FloUltra screens can be used along with Tendeka’s SealRight and SwellFix open hole packers to compartmentalise zones for maximum sand control.

The screens can be deployed as a stand-alone option (FloMax) or in conjunction with Tendeka’s passive (FloRight) or autonomous (FloSure) inflow control devices to regulate flow and create a highly effective sand control solutions.  These screens are also compatible with the newest generation of injection and production valve technology from Tendeka, including FloCheck, FloExtreme and FloFuse ranges.

The FloElite Range is a premium mesh sand screen, designed with an innovative press-fit assembly method constructed of a multi-layer design for support, drainage, filtration, convergence and protection. The Elite screen range has been specifically engineered to reduce costs while maintaining performance and strength, and is rated for most field applications.

The screens can be deployed as a stand-alone option (FloMax) or  in conjunction with Tendeka’s passive (FloRight) or autonomous inflow control (FloSure) devices to regulate flow and create a highly effective sand  control solution.  These screens are also compatible with the newest generation of injection and production valve technology from Tendeka, including FloCheck, FloExtreme and FloFuse ranges.

Tendeka’s screen ranges are all available as stand alone screen options (FloMax), utilising the same jackets as our inflow control screens.

An additional screen range which is only available in FloMax variant is the FloMax Disc Screen.  This screens feature high-quality premium weave inserts and robust mounting into the base-pipe for reliable, simple installation.  The smaller OD of FloMax Disc screens makes them ideal for tight hole applications.  The insert disc design enables Tendeka to tailor the open flow area to match well productivity for each application.
