JOB PURPOSE

Providing global legal support and advice relating to the daily operations of the Company. 

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Providing legal support related to the operation of large value contracts including developing, drafting and reviewing legal documentation in support of procurement activities
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and negotiating up to date standard terms and conditions and contractual templates for a wide range of commercial agreements, including Global MSA, Distributions Agreement, NDAs and Licence Agreements
  • Providing legal advice and support to the business including employment law related matters, corporate legal support, and other ad hoc legal issues
  • Engagement with contractors, partners, relevant authorities, industry bodies and external counsel as required
  • Representing Tendeka in various external meetings as required.
  • Managing all corporate legal requirements and setting up new international entities
  • Ensuring compliance with UK and international trade regulations and restrictions, Anti-corruption and anti-trust compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • Law degree, at honours level (or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice
  • Fully qualified and eligible to practise law in Scotland and/or England and thorough understanding of UK law and practices.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

Essential:

  • Relevant PQE experience in Contract Law, Employment Law, Corporate/Commercial Law and Oil and Gas Services

Preferred: 

  • In-house experience, whether from a number of secondments or current in-house position would be preferable
  • Dealings with and experience in International Trade Law, Intellectual Property Law and Oil and Gas Law (UKCS)

    JOB PURPOSE

     Plan, coordinate, and ensure seamless delivery of projects, products and services in Oman and Qatar as well as establishing strong working relationships with our local customers/vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective running of the business.

    Focal point for Operational support which includes FracRight Systems, Swellable Packers, Sand Control and Inflow Control Devices, as well as help in reservoir modelling for AICD installations, as well as support operation and customers in Qatar when required.

    KEY ACTIVITIES

    • Focal point for planning and coordination of all ongoing and upcoming operations and project awards in Oman and Qatar.
    • Supervise Pre-Job preparation of equipment and installation procedures and ensure any NCRs are closed out appropriately.
    • Ensure on time delivery and invoicing of orders to reduce DSO through key contacts within Oman and Qatar client organisation
    • Technical support to Region Manager on projects and operations.
    • Develop and deliver technical solutions to customers.
    • Link between customer and internal engineering for client requirements.
    • Perform Field Installations and trouble-shooting.
    • Supervise and Prepare Installation and Client feedback reports as required
    • Plan installation activities with Region Manager to ensure installation success.
    • Prepare supporting documentation for all aspects of surface equipment including Operation Manuals, Hook-up Drawings, System Diagrams, Installation & Commissioning Procedures, Work packages, Configuration Records, etc.
    • Mentor and Work with Field Engineers to maintain the Project Folders and all supporting documentation.
    • Travel to other locations in region as required
    • Adhere to company & client’s QHSSE requirements and local legislation at all times and actively participate in promoting a safe working environment.

    INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Previous Operational experience & Customer interaction.
    • Technical background; experience from completions: ICDs, Liner hanger, Swellable packers, Multi-stage frac, and mechanical packers, frac’ing operations
    • Project management; plan and coordinate activities leading up to operations as well as follow up throughout the operations.
    • Strong Operational experience.
    • Ability to find solutions that meet customer expectations.
    • Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
    • Demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure to meet client delivery expectations.
    • Willingness to provide field support when needed

    Preferred:

    • Reservoir knowledge with experience with Netool or other Inflow control modelling software

      JOB PURPOSE

      The Floor Assistant is responsible for assisting with packaging products, general housekeeping and many other general daily duties.

      A good team player who will work closely with the Shop Foreman to ensure a safe, clean work environment along with helping to ensure quality, on-time delivery of all orders.

      KEY ACTIVITIES

       Responsibilities and tasks will include:

      • Daily emptying of all trash receptacles and grinding/sanding collection barrels
      • Assist to ensure all tools are clean and stored in the proper toolboxes/areas
      • Assist with daily inspections of forklifts, overhead cranes, climate-controlled storage rooms, lifting accessories, etc.
      • Ensure all work performed meets specification requirements
      • When required, assist with applying rubber to pipe mandrels and end rings, whether calendared or extruded
      • Assist in other areas of the workshop as needed
      • Undertaking special projects and assignments as requested
      • General housekeeping
      • Assist with stock cycle counts
      • Assist with the control of consumable stock levels

      INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES

        Job Purpose

        To provide combined QC inspection and warehouse resource in support of all in house assembly and test work.

         

        Key Activities

        QC Inspection

        • To carry out QC inspection activities on incoming goods, including:

        – Review of product traceability documentation and certification,

        – Completion QC Inspection Reports and Logs, including recording on the QHSSE database

        – Completion of incoming goods transactions in ERP,

        – Ensuring calibration devices are calibrated and serviced (calibration log, certificates and device ID checks),

        – Management of concession requests and non-conformance reports related to inspection, assembly and test process,

        • To carry out in-process QC inspection as required and ensure traceability is retained for components assembled and tested in-house,
        • To collate product QA document packs for final product review and sign off,
        • To witness or complete final inspection of products at supplier location, if required (includes travel to supplier locations).

         

        Warehouse

        • To be responsible for the stock location management of the warehouse including putting away goods and sub-assemblies in stock locations;
        • To ensure stock accuracy by stock control and carry out stock checks when required. Report and investigate any stock variances in a timely manner;
        • To ensure all stock is stored and maintained in good condition and report any issues when required;
        • To ensure that all items with a shelf-life are maintained, for example cure dates on elastomeric seals;
        • To ensure that parts requiring engineering change are actioned by working with the Engineering and Supply Chain Departments;
        • To pick items or sub-assemblies from stock in a timely fashion for readiness for product assembly and test;
        • To ensure that the is furnished with all necessary parts or sub-assemblies to allow a smooth and efficient production flow;
        • To provide back-up for the goods receiving, including unloading of goods and receipt into Epicor business system.

         

        Qualifications

        Essential:

        • Educated to standard/higher grade level

        Preferred:       

        • Warehouse / stock control qualification
        • Internal Auditor Certification

         

        Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge

        Essential: 

        • Minimum 2 years of experience in QC inspection using variety of measuring devices and techniques in a manufacturing environment,
        • Warehouse and stock control in a manufacturing environment,
        • Microsoft software skills including ‘Word’ and ‘Excel’.

        Preferred:

        • Manufacturing and Quality back ground covering precision machined components,
        • ERP system, preferably ‘Epicor ERP’,
        • FLT license.

          Qualifications

          • Degree or HND in Manufacturing; Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
          • Prior experience in Manufacturing and Supply Chain in a similar environment

          • Understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain in a similar or larger sized company.
          • Exposure to a machine shop environment / Production facility
          • Must have in-depth knowledge of production planning, inventory management, cost control, budgeting and resource management within an ERP environment
          • Proven ability to roll out high-quality new products on-time.
          • Must have good commercial awareness, particularly with regards to dealings with suppliers.
          • Demonstrated strong negotiating skills.
          • Ability to effectively and consistently close out objectives in a time bound manner.
          • Open-minded and innovative personality with strong communication and visible leadership skills.
