Autonomous Well Plug
PulseEight Autonomous Well Plug (AWP) is a wellbore plug that eliminates the requirements for interventions during offset fracturing operations and allows easy pump change-outs. During stimulation operations, it is best practice to run wireline set plugs into nearby wells in case of fracture break-through. This requires costly and often risky interventions, and leaves producing wells shut-in longer than necessary.
Tendeka’s AWP replaces the need for conventional bridge plugs, facilitating multiple ‘plug’ operations from a single deployment by closing autonomously when an extended well shut-in is detected.
The simplicity and flexibility of the AWP makes it the ideal choice for frac operations where a downhole barrier is required, guaranteeing improved performance, efficiency and safety.
