Wireless Smart Well
Current Challenges
Providing direct control in horizontal or multilateral wells currently requires intelligent well completion systems. While these systems work well there are a number of downsides:
- They are expensive
- Cannot be deployed in lateral sections of multilateral wells,
- Are risky to deploy in open holes
- Require high risk down hole wet connects when deployed with ESP pumps
- Require expensive workovers to replace failed valves.

Tendeka Solution
Use wirelessly controlled ICV’s to provide inflow control for horizontal and multilateral wells.
Benefits:
- Lower costs and reduced rig time compared to conventional ICV’s.
- Can be safely deployed into both open or cased holes
- Used for either injector or producers
- Can control horizontal segments, lateral control from the mother-bore, or be deployed inside lateral sections.
- Can be deployed below ESPs so no need for wet connects
- Improves wellbore clean-up
- Allows for individual segment or lateral PI testing
- Is recoverable therefore easy to repair failed valves or replace batteries.
- Can be deployed with wireless down hole PT gauges
- Can be used to improve stimulation or placement of scale or paraffin treatments.
