Current Challenges

Horizontal or high angle injections wells suffer form poor injection profiles caused by heterogeneity and friction in the completion. Poor injection profiles can result in poor water flood response and early water break-through in offset producers.

Tendeka Solution

Currently many operators run a cemented liner and perforate the horizontal pay zone. They deploy a segmented intelligent well completion to control the injection profile in the well. While this solution does work, it is very costly.

The Tendeka solution highlighted in the graphic is significantly more cost effective. Advantages to the operator include:

• Lower cost by removing the completion liner
• No perforating costs
• ICD’s are less expensive compared to ICV’s
• less rig time for deployment
• Injection profiling via DTS
• No moving parts will result in improved success and well life
