Current Challenges

Gravel packs are usually deployed in high permeability / unconsolidated sand stone reservoirs. These reservoirs typically have high well PI’s and deliver high oil rates to the operator. The problem is the poor inflow profiles will result in water breakthrough. When this happens, high water production will result in lost oil production and recovery.

The Tendeka Solution

A simple installation inside the existing screen completion combining ICD’s and swellable packers will replace a more costly workover operation.

Deploy the proven ICD completion, which is available in sizes from 2-3/8” to 7”, inside the failed existing gravel pack screen.

If a PLT is planned then blank pipe sections with swellable packers and ICD’s will isolate the watered out sections while creating an even inflow throughout the rest of the horizontal section.
