Proven ICD technology will improve the well’s inflow profile resulting in improved overall recovery
Reduced rig time, improved well placement, and well control via the new FloCheck design will allow for full circulation during deployment without the need for an inner string
Improved wellbore clean-up associated with ICD completions in long horizontal sections with real time monitoring from DTS
Improved mud displacement to brine in open hole section via the new FloCheck ICD allows placement of breaks if required while controlling losses. This results in improved well PI, reduce screen plugging, less rig time and improved well control.
Real-time inflow monitoring via proven DTS systems will result in savings in coiled tubing logging costs and faster remediation to the well.
For longer horizontal wells, the completion can be deployed in two trips allowing for full rotation of the lower ICD completion including adding a reaming shoe. This deployment technique is idea for extended reach applications.
Ideal completion for water shut-off as a workover to existing horizontal wells. Simply run a PLT in the existing well to locate watered out sections and/or fractures in carbonates, these sections can be isolated with blank pipe in the new completion. ICDs will keep the water from migrating to unaffected areas.
