Conventional multi-laterals are drilled out of a cased mother-bore (TAML level 3). The completion is either uncontrolled or completed with Smart ICV’s to control lateral inflow.
Tendeka offers a number of cost effective solutions for M/L Inflow Control in carbonate reservoirs
Plan the well as a lower cost open hole multi or tri-lateral well. Deploy a standard ICD completion with swellable or mechanical open hole packers to create segments and isolate the laterals with ICD segments to provide an acceptable rate range for each lateral and mother-bore. This technique improves well foot print and extends well life at a fraction of the cost compared to conventional cased hole with intelligent well completion.
Add wireless control utilizing the new FloRight ICD system with a DTS monitoring line and increase control of the laterals, get real-time inflow monitoring, have the ability to shut-off lateral inflow if it waters out, unload and test each lateral independently from the mother-bore.
