Tendeka’s new wireless ICD system stands to revolutionize horizontal well completions

The New FloRight ICD system from Tendeka utilizes wireless technology to open and close the downhole sleeves and will allow direct control to the passive ICD system when necessary.
Advantages to adding wireless sleeve control to the ICD completion include:

• Independent compartment unloading, and PI testing is possible
• If a segment has low rate, it can be stimulated easily by closing all other compartments and bull heading stimulation fluids.
• A DTS monitoring system can be added to facilitate real-time inflow monitoring and early detection of water break-through.
• Wireless control of the sleeves can isolate any water or gas contaminated compartment quickly without intervention for as long as the batteries last
• Adding Multi-point DTS PT sensors in the annulus and tubing per compartment will allow for rate measurement across the ICD
