Distributed Pressure Sensor (DPS)
Tendeka’s intervention methods are cost-effective, low-risk, efficient, and retro-fittable. Once the completion is run, the Tendeka team can install the monitoring system at any time, without any impacts to rig operations. Conventional production logging technology requires the use of a number of instruments that need to be moved up and down the wellbore to log any zones of interest. These procedures are time consuming, complex and can lead to lost production.
Benefits
Tendeka’s unique intervention methods provide a number of benefits, including:
- Powerful logging system that does not need to be moved in the wellbore during production or injection
- Installation (temporary or permanent) that can be retrieved months or years later and installed elsewhere
- Retro-fits into existing completions
- Continuous condition monitoring of thermal process and well integrity
- Simple and efficient, one-time sensing cable deployment
- Rigless deployment
- No requirement for production tubing, tubing hanger, or bypass ports
- Deployment in to any hole size – either cased or open hole.
- Intervention options
We offer a wide variety of intervention options to suit your every monitoring need including:
- FibreDipTM – cable deployed using conventional slickline or wireline surface equipment
- ZipLogTM – retrofittable logging technology using a composite rod design
- E-RayTM Hybrid – similar to FibreDipTM cable but also incorporates an electrical conductor element
- Coiled Tubing (CT) – FO sensor can be installed in CT after manufacture
- StimPulseTM – based on FO sensing technology to provide monitoring during stimulation and warmback
Applications
Interpretation of the data provided by the DTS based intervention system can deliver value to the operator in a wide range of well performance evaluations, including:
- Well integrity issues (flow behind casing / tubing leaks / valve conditions)
- Evaluate gas lift valves for gas injection optimization
- Total production fluid entry points
- Producers – while producing
- Injectors – while shut-in (warm-back)
- Indicate fluid movements during frac-jobs / acid stimulations / scale inhibitor injections
- Distributed temperature across reservoir section
- Cross-flow verification.
