Tendeka’s range of solutions for reservoir monitoring and control includes distributed temperature sensing based on fibre optic sensing technology. Instead of making measurements at discrete, pre-determined points distributed sensing makes continuous measurements over the full length of the optical fibre (as the fibre itself is the sensor). As a result we can detect changes in temperature without prior knowledge of where the event/s might occur to effectively monitor all points along the cable at all times. The essential real-time data obtained enables well-informed reservoir management decisions to be made.
