Tendeka’s Passive Inflow Control Devices (ICDs) are used to enhance the performance of horizontal wells in unfavorable environments, such as nonuniform permeability and/or pressure along horizontal sections.
The ICD’s are spaced throughout the completion liner adjacent to the production or injection reservoir. They can be placed on every joint or run in combination with blank joints to provide the desired well compartmentalization and inflow profile as per client requirements. This gives the assembly extra strength and protects the inflow control nozzles during make up and installation, and provides stand-off from the hole wall during production or injection.
