September 18, 2013
Tendeka are through to the finals for the Technology Implementation of the Year Award with Oil and Gas Middle East.
The organiser state:
“This award will go to the company that designed and implemented technology which will go on to reshape the oil and gas industry in the Middle East. Through its rigorous research and development and investment into new technologies, this company will have tackled one or more of the many challenges which the oil and gas industry faces in the region.”
Tendeka were nominated for this award for our introduction of our Autonomous Inflow Control Device (AICD), transforming the traditional ICD from passive technology to a fully autonomous device that constantly adapts to the changing parameters across the entire length of the production interval and allows for greater control of reservoir production.
Tendeka’s Autonomous Inflow Control Device (AICD) Range helps operators overcome the technological challenges of early water and gas breakthrough.
The Tendeka FloSureTM inflow control device (licensed for worldwide use from Statoil) can be used to control inflow from the entire length of a horizontal well drilled in an oil reservoir. Tendeka currently is manufacturing 1,000 FloSureTM AICDs per month and is the first service company having commercialized this technology for high volume implementation.
The award will be announced at a gala dinner on 9th October.
